2016 European Championships

The 2016 European Championships took place over 5 day in July 2016 in the picturesque setting of Jersey in the Channel Islands.

NE Touch was well represented in this event with our region adding to the squads as below:

Mixed Open:      2 players and 1 coach
Men's Open:       3 players and 1 coach
Men's 30's:         4 players & 1 coach
Men's 40's:         7 players & 1 coach
Men's 45''s:        3 players
Women's Open:  2 players
Women's 27's:    4 players
Referee's:          5 (50% of the Scottish total!)

The teams did exceptionally well, with the MXO in 1st place, MO in 4th place, M30's in 4th place, M40's in 3rd place, M45's in 2nd, WO in 4th place and the W27 in 2nd place. Well done all.
